2010, is going to be awesome, isn't it? One of my resolutions is to try to write more entries for my poor little LJ. I think I can... I think I can...
As for me, I'm going to enjoy a quiet dinner with my wife & kids, maybe rent a movie and - most of all - try to put 2009 behind me forever. What a shitty, god-damned year it's been. Yeesh.

Mail Online is reporting that Panda Moms are too tie-tie to breed more often because they must take care of their rambunctious cubs. Check out this Trouble-causing Crib Climber:

Thanks, Nick W. and Sunny B. Check out ALL the great pics over at Mail Online.

Where were you people when Richard Reid smuggled the very same type of explosive onto American Flight 63 and Bush's Justice Department tried him in a criminal court?

Baby New Year showed up a little early at the Niabi Zoo in Illinois, in the form of this wobbly new giraffe born December 27. The boy, about six feet, 150 pounds, was born a few days earlier than expected, but the little feller is doing just fine, and will greet the public when the zoo reopens next May. Until then, he’ll bond with Mom, and do lots of fun giraffe-type activities, such as running around, flicking his tail, eating hay, nibbling leaves on trees (well, the shorter trees, anyway), or maybe take up a nice hobby, like stamp collecting, which can be a rewarding way to pass the time during the long winter months, because you also learn the history behind each stamp. I recall I had a full set of 60’s-era state flag stamps as a boy; sadly, they were lost in a family move, but anyway…
Also, does anyone else seem to think that "wool matches wool" and wind up looking like a crazy knitter all winter? I love it.
As you can see it's the holidays and doctors and stores aren't even open so I was wondering if anyone knew if I really have a yeast infection? And I am using my cup at the moment because I don't know what is going on. I was also itching a few weeks ago and i itched and kindof bled and it hurt...
I also have to go out today because my boyfriend insists that i go out with him to a friend's place for a gathering.
I've been using my cup for about half a year, It is THE GREATEST invention of all time.
Is this a yeast infection? What should I do? :S Please help :(

ABOUT ME: I am a 32-year old (almost 33-year old) mother of two wonderful little boys. I have a 7-year old who is in first grade, and my younger son is 2.5. While I firmly believe that my two children are the most amazing creatures in the entire world, I understand that my opinion is slightly bias. I might be a mother first, but that is only one part of my life. I have been married to my husband for over 8 years now, and we live in Ohio. I have a degree in child psychology, and I used to work with special treatment foster care children. Now I am a full time mom.
I find myself highly amusing. I watch way too much reality TV, and I am a pro at people watching. I like to consider myself open minded, and I am always up for a discussion as long as opinions are respected. My husband would probably call me a control freak. He would probably also call me other things, but he does not wish to spend the rest of his life sleeping with one eye open. I love movies, playing games, and reading. I do Annie Advice posts on occasion where my friends ask me questions and I offer advice. It is my way of my degree. I like to consider my LJ friends more than just "people I know online". I write about everything from my daily life to rants to joys.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR: Who the heck knows. I have such a random group of LJ friends right now, and I want that to continue. I cannot tell you how much I have learned from my LJ friends over the years, and I never want my LJ to be full of Annie clones who have my exact same interests and thoughts. Humor is a must, though. Age, religious preference, whether you are married or not, whether you have children or not, or whether you like Oreos does not matter to me. We'll get to know each other and learn from each other. It does help if you think my children are adorable beyond all reason, though.
So check out my user info and read some of my public posts. Let me know if you add me and join my LJ family.
Oh. I also like to ramble.
Hey everyone!
I’ve been an lj member since 2004 on another journal. Since I am turning 30 this coming year, I’ve decided to start a new journal. Goodbye to the past, hello to a new decade of adventure. I started a new journal because I want to focus on myself and start doing the things I want to do for myself and for my future. Oh and here’s something refreshing - I can’t wait to be 30! Most people loathe getting older, but I love every birthday.
So a bit about me - I live on my own (in NJ), work a full-time job in a wonderful field (haha) and have a long term boyfriend. Just recently I started branching out and making new friends in real life, so a lot of my entries are about the trials and tribulations of making new girlfriends. I am definitely into fitness. I write a lot about my running goals and fitness goals. I am a TV junkie, specifically LOST, (even though I am so, haha, lost,) American Idol, The Office and the best show ever, Mad Men. P.S. I was Joan Holloway for Halloween this past year.
I go to the movies a lot - so much so that it is so hard for me to rent a movie because I’ve seen most of the new releases. Oh except, I will never watch Twilight. Music is kind of all over the place - I like a lot of dance, pop and rock but my favorite is 70s classic rock.
Other than that I have interests in dancing, fashion, travel, etc. You know, your run of the mill interests.
I’m not looking for a specific type of friend but just want to add some interesting people to my journal. Add me? :)
I'm married. His name is Stacey. Yes...we are Stacey and Tracy. *waits for the giggling to subside* As if that wasn't so sugary rot-your-teeth sweet enough, let me add that our anniversary is Valentine's Day. Now, before you start sending me your dental bills, let me assure you we are NOT that sticky sweet "omg we even wear the same clothes" kinda couple. We got married on Valentine's Day for 2 very UNromantic reasons. 1) It was free. We went to the courthouse, got our license, stood before the judge and got married. 2nd marriage for both of us, and we just wanted it done. 2) It's easy for him to remember. He is HORRID for remembering dates.
I am the non-custodial mother of 3 children. Cassandra, who is 15; Christopher, who is 14; and Samantha, who is 11. It's a long and painful story about how I lost custody of them (Michigan courts SUCK!). I did have them for the entire summer last year (2008), but since they've been back with their father, they've not called or wanted to talk to me on the phone. I honestly think a lot of that has to do with shit their father is telling them, but that's a whole different issue.
Stacey and I are in the process of getting our life back together after being homeless for 9 months. (August 24, 2008 – May 21, 2009) Technically we are still considered homeless, but we are not street-bound or shelter dependent. Right now we are living in an extended stay motel that has a fridge, microwave and stove-top and a bed. It's not much, but it's better than what we had. Right now we are working on paying off creditors so we can eventually get a loan to buy a house.
I am not employed at this time. I was working at Babies R Us until May. I quit once Stacey got established in his new job. I was lucky to be getting 10 hours a week. That was NOT helping us get UNhomeless. Stacey is employed at a company that makes a popular snack food and bread. He works 3rd shift. This does not make me happy. He loves it, I do not. Part of the reason we moved here to Chicago was so we could spend time with family. Now that he's working 3rd, he won't be able to do that so much. UGH!
I started working out at Curves back in August (it was a combinations birthday/Christmas/anniversary present.) It's going okay, I guess. I like going, but I'm not seeing any results. Since finding out that our insurance covers bariatric surgery (aka lap-band), I'll be starting that process this year (2010). My husband is a recovering alcoholic. January 16th will be his 2 years Sobriety anniversary. I'm so very proud of him. Especially since he did it by himself. No counseling, no hospitalization, nothing. Just went cold turkey. Definitely not an easy process, but definitely worth it!
I'm a gamer chick. I guess that makes me a geek. Whatever....geeks are hot! “wink” I play various games, not all of them popular. I especially enjoy Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction (can't wait for D3) and Guild Wars (omg, so excited for GW2!!) and Sims 3. Both of us have epic soap-opera's going on with our respective Sims families. But we also play games on PS2 and, since I got him a PS3 for Christmas, we're gonna be working on building our library for that.
Apparently I'm also a "cultured" kinda girl. I enjoy Formula One racing, symphony orchestras, ballets, ballroom dancing, museums, classical music, renaissance, Shakespeare. (again with the geekiness, huh?)
My posts are pretty random. I usually type what's on my mind right at that moment and probably don't make much sense to anyone but myself. I'm friends only, simply because I don't need my idiot ex-husband reading my stuff. I read everyone's posts, but rarely comment. I don't always expect comments either.
Add me. If we click, cool. If not, at least we can say we gave it a try.
